From Nowhere – Dan Croll

I know I may be a little late on posting this one considering Dan Croll has been making his way across music blogs everywhere since the release of this single last September. However, since this is still the only song of his to officially be released and no one has sent it to me on Spotify yet, I’ll still consider myself ahead of the game.

When I first heard the keyboard on the intro to this track I would have sworn it was Miike Snow (which surprisingly wasn’t listed as an influence of his), but once the drums and vocals kicked in I knew it had to be someone fresh on the scene. People who don’t know about this 22-year old Liverpool native will be getting word of him soon enough. A few more blog posts, Spotify shares and possibly a commercial and he’ll be the next Alex Clare.
